I knew this wonderful man as Great Uncle Jack, but everyone else except his family called him John. Born in Leicester in 1916, he was drawn to all things theatrical from an early age, making puppet theatres from old wooden boxes, with lavish stage curtains crafted from odds and ends in his Mother's needlework bag.
This Red Ribbon Fund is in memory of Andrew Wilson
This Red Ribbon Fund is in memory of Michael Fittock and was set up by his mother, Maureen Fittock. Michael died on June 23 1993. His friend Dennis wrote this obituary. "Mike passed through to the other side peacefully and painlessly in the presence of his mother and father in Brentwood, Essex, England.
Maurice Huggett brought the West End theatre crowd together as the host and proprietor of the Phoenix Artist Club on Charing Cross Road. A flamboyant figure renowned for his collection of gaudy waistcoats, Huggett created a retreat for performers, producers, programme makers and programme sellers amid the clamour of nightly theatrical life.
Robert Morrison sadly passed away on Friday 2nd December. The family would like people to make a donation to the Terence Higgins Trust instead of sending flowers. Thank you.
Not long after Johnny passed away, Alicia was born and helped to cheer us up. This year we marked 20 years since Johnny's sad death. A week later David and I got married. We decided to commemorate Johnny and include him in the celebrations by asking wedding guests to contribute to the THT Red Ribbon Fund.
This Red Ribbon Fund is in celebration of Johnny Partridge and Jon Tsouras' civil partnership.
Bryan was a very smart intellectual with an acute sense of humor. He loved classical music, opera, and art and was a master potter for many years. He loved Gozo, Malta’s sister island, where he retired and lived till the very end of his life. His pet hate was receiving cards with his name spelled as "Brian" as opposed to "BrYan".
Probably the most unique person we have ever met. We all claim to be unique but Paul had his own "code of conduct" that nobody else could really fully understand. He was obstinate & annoying but generous & flamboyant at the same time.
In loving memory of John Barcock.
I dedicate these thoughts and words and unconditional love I have, to my brother, Dougie Mann. He was the most kindest, giving, loving brother and uncle to me and my children, Joel and Ebony. When he was well, he was always there for my mother and able to help her when she wasn't well, and at most times when she needed him.
This page is dedicated to dear Daniel (Danny) from his friends and loved ones.
In loving memory of Terry McDonald.
Kristian was a wonderful man and a very talented director and presenter. We are devastated by the loss of such a vital, wonderful person who brought joy to all who met him and wish to extend our condolences to all who knew him and all who enjoyed his work.
I have set up this fund in memory of my beloved partner Dima Kostenko (1966 - 2009) to honour his life and the work he did for his numerous listeners around the world. Your love will always be in my heart. I miss you a lot.
This fund was set up in remembrance of Carl (31 March 1938 - 02 December 2009). Carl was both a supporter and user of the Terrence Higgins Trust and gave a regular, monthly donation.
Mel passed away unexpectedly on 12th July 2009. She will be greatly missed by all her friends (many of whom are members of the gay community) and family. Mel was unique in her love for people and animals which knew no boundaries. All who knew her miss her desperately. Mel leaves behind husband Joel, her son Gavin, sister Primrose and her family.
